WHAT!?

Post by me » Thu Dec 16, 2004

Ack! I got both pieces of the Demon Blade and the guy near brooke won't forge the sword! Am I talking to the right person?

By the way, is there a way to put enemies on the map editor?

If he wont forge the sword its because you need to first buy the Dragon Blade from Rose. You need the second best weapon in the game BEFORE you get the best weapon in the game.

Code logic is: If Quest(6) = 1 And Quest(7) = 9 And EQUIP(0) = 4 then
Translation: If BladePart1 and BladePart2 and DragonBlade then

O.O;;

It costs so much though...

Just to let you know, I beat the game and I'm just fooling around now. I've gotten the balloon, ALMOST the demon blade, beaten the tournament (I would say that was the hardest thing in the game), and I need to make the last two shops for the orphanage. The story was far better than nearly anything I've seen/heard before, and I'm not just saying that. This game is awesome!

Oh, and is there a way to put enemies (other than chest) on the map with the map editor?

You know what the wierdest thing of the story is? I made it up along the way! I was just programming and went "ok, lets have the story go here, then here". I mean I had small ideas of what I wanted but I made it up as I go. Somehow it all came together, phew!

And no, you cant add enemies to map editor, its hardcoded into game, the X/Y coordinates, plus enemies are random based on area. But you can add monster treasure chests so when you walk on it you encounter the treasure monster.

Well the map editor was basically written for me to make my life easier drawing the map. I just threw it in for fun for people because its kinda cool to be able to edit the map, and why not? But dont expect a full map editor, that would be wasted time on a pretty useless "extra". But as you can see from my old map editors they get better and better with more features.

Hey ME, If you hit F12 then you will be able to enter the code "Ahhh" which will enable you to get attacked by a monster. if you are in an area where there are monsters. 8)
